rompzz spreads love

Like so many other small businesses, rompzz has faced its biggest struggle thus far since the emergence of COVID-19.  I was deep into production for rompzz Spring/Summer 2020 when the COVID-19 epidemic slammed the world.  That’s when rompzz “pause” began.

I usually wake up every morning, excited to start my day working on my new Spring Collection, but this season has been very different.  I hadn’t had the heart nor motivation to work on anything rompzz when I knew so many people around the world, country and city were being so tragically affected as well as knowing all the first responders, front line and essential workers were risking their lives.

I decided to put production on pause and redirect my focus onto joining the fight against the pandemic.  Thanks to the donation of fabric and elastic by Brooklyn Stitchery I began voluntarily making masks for various organizations, groups, essential workers and food pantries in our local area who were in need.   Trying to help stop the spread, help save lives and keep people protected was our main goal.  To date, rompzz is proud to have donated over 400+ masks to essential workers and food banks in our local area.

And as a result of our efforts we have now partnered with 4th Avenue Presbyterian Church Food Pantry & Reaching Out Community Services to continue our donation of masks for families in need.  rompzz will have a new line of Eco-conscious masks available for purchase shortly, with proceeds benefiting both of these food pantries.

So when you purchase a rompzz mask you will be helping protect yourself and those around you as well as spreading rompzz love by helping those in need.

Please stay safe and healthy and let’s continue to spread rompzz love!  xox
